Backyard Progress

  You might remember what our backyard looked like when we first moved in and then again later in the year when we decided to take out the random concrete in the middle of our yard. You can see the pictures here and here. 

  Yesterday Joe got a couple of his cousins out here and with the help of some tools and some good beer they were able to turn our backyard from this:

Of course they all had to celebrate afterward by burning that stupid stump again.

For like the 50th time.

 

Joe and I drew up the new backyard plans the other day to include a deck,a new fence, a slate patio with firepit, grass, planter boxes, and a vegie garden.  I will keep you all updated with pictures and hopefully by June, we will have a beautiful backyard for the kids to play in and for me to tan in!!!!
